Fun places to visit in Minneapolis

Megan Link from Prince William shared "If you just happen to be in Minneapolis and are able to get tickets, the Guthrie Theater is staging “West Side Story.” The leads have phenomenal voices and the choreography is first rate. There isn’t a bad seat in the well-designed house. Even if you don’t see a show, the theater is worth a visit simply to see the facility. Great views of the waterfront! Well worth your time."

Jennifer Andrews form Henrico enjoyed her visit to Minnehaha Park! "I hiked around Minnehaha Falls today - down to the creek bed and back up!! Lovely place to enjoy the outdoors. The falls are right next to Sea Salty Restaurant. Longfellow's House is open for visitors and has A/C. There's also an area to get into the water."

Octavia Harris also visited Minnehaha Park. She said the waterfalls were very nice and you can go into the water in the shallow area. It's a great park to walk around on a beautiful day AND it has a great place to eat called the Sea Salt Eatery!

Want to learn some of the history of Minneapolis?  Then plan a visit to The Mill Museum. Kitty Reip learned that Minneapolis was built on saw mills and flour production. She said the museum has an excellent 19 minute movie all about the history of Minneapolis and she recommends the flour tower tour.

Kitty Reip suggests you head over to the Mall of America and ride "Fly Over America". The ride is a travelogue where riders "fly" through the air visiting sites across America.

Up for a walk? Kitty Reip ventured to Summit Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota. The boulevard offers a gorgeous walk as you observe architecture from early 1800s to present tear-downs and fixer uppers.
